Andrews lives in the historic market town of Bridgnorth, Shropshire, England and works from his studio at the Eagle Works Arts collective in the City of Wolverhampton. Having felt
compelled to make art since childhood, he has put aside a long career in architecture to commit fully to his art practice.
ln the studio, he creates large scale abstract works in oils and wax on canvas, which have origins in his other passion: Plein Air sketching and painting. His main aim is to capture the feel of a place, sometimes with a few lines in pen with a splash of tone; other times it takes a more elaborate watercolor painting. He took part in Pintar Rapido Amsterdam in 2015 and 2016, exhibiting in the Posthoornkerk following exhilarating paint outs in the city. He graduated as MA Fine Art at Wolverhampton
School of Art in2021, exhibiting at the Graduation Show at the New Art Gallery, Walsall and several other group shows since.
