Michiel Kranendonk (1966) graduated from the Minerva Academy of Art in Groningen and studied for some time at the Royal Academy of Art in Dublin. His work features in private, public and corporate collections in the Netherlands and abroad. He is regularly invited to the en plein air weeks in Katwijk, on the Dutch coast. A member of the Dutch Watercolour Circle, Michiel also teaches painting and is often commissioned to paint portraits of houses. He lives with his wife, their two children and their dog in Driebergen in the Netherlands.
