MARIA LINKER
Mrs. Maria Linkers (The Netherlands) is trustee at the “Beelden aan Zee Museum” in Scheveningen. In the past she also lived in Curacao. Maria founded “Fonds Ars Antilliani” at the Prins Bernhard Cultuurfonds Amsterdam, primarily promoting visual arts and artists from the Dutch Caribbean. Maria holds a degree from the Minerva Academy of fine arts in Groningen as well as a doctorandus degree in art history at the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam. Having taught at the Niftarlake lyceum in Maarssen, Maria was also a commissioner of art exams in Curacao and was actively involved at the Curacao museum.
DAVID CHANG
Professor David Chang (USA), is graduate director and professor of painting, drawing and visual arts education at the Florida International University. He is the founding director of the Academy of Portrait and Figurative Art. Professor Chang is also Chair of the Florida Artists Group. He studied at the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts, Paris, France, the Cambridge University, England, the Academy of Fine Arts, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai, China, and Florida International University. Professor Chang has been awarded the Florida Higher Education Art Educator Prize as well as the Florida Art Education Distinguished Service Award.
CARSON EUSTATIUS
Mr. Carson Eustatius (Curacao), is a passionate collector of (local) art. His main interest lies with artists born in or resident of the former Netherlands Antillies. He was co-curator for the Curacaosche Museum 70 years' celebration in 2018 and member of the jury for the "Boeli van Leeuwenprijs 2019". Since 2022, Carson has been a board member of the "Konseho Kultural Korsou'' (Cultural advice body of Curacao). He is also a certified compliance professional with 15 years local and international experience in different groups such as policy making, insurance sector, and quality assessor for the Caribbean Financial Action Task Force. (CFATF).
