Born an island girl, water and light has always fascinated me. Often described by painters as the most difficult topics to paint, I am attracted to their delicate dance. Here on Curaçao, we are given unlimited opportunities to capture these powerful elements that stir an artist’s soul.
 

When I look at a scene, I am enthralled by the challenge. I find that it is not until I have mastered this unique dance that each painting truly comes to life.
