Since Diana was little girl, she always liked drawing and painting, starting her development in this area at age 12 as autodidact.

In 1986 at the end of her academic studies in Venezuela, Diana returned to Curaçao to work and raise her family. In 2010 she start her formal study of painting at the Adriana's Academy for Art & Science" in Curaçao.

In 2011 Diana participated in the first festival of Plein Air Curaçao. She also participated in 3 exhibitions of the Adriana's Academy in the years 2011, 2012 and 2015.

In 2014 she took part in the exhibition "Colors of Life" in the Gallery “Kas di Kultura Koprsou” and in 2018 she participated with a group of artist in the first exposition “Velas Curaçao”.
