My watercolors can often be described as bold, with colorful themes that often border on whimsical. It evokes lightness and has an overall impressionistic style. My oil's on the other hand, are strictly palette-knife renderings that produce deeper lines with bold coloring and definition. Both styles are used to depict the breath taking the beauty of my Island home.

Some of my most recent juried competitions include:

First Prize - Chilliwack, British Columbia - Harvest Festival [2009]
Honorable Mention - Montague, Prince Edward Island - Plein Air Festival [2015]
People's Choice Award – Montague, Prince Edward Island – Plein Air Festival [2016]

In 1995 I discovered I have Macular Degeneration and have since experienced diminishing peripheral vision. This is why some profits from sales are donated to causes dedicated to assisting the visually impaired. My heartfelt thanks go out to family, friends and Art lovers everywhere who have been so supportive of my work.
